French-Italian conductor Karine Locatelli brings over 15 years experience from the Lyon Opera House, with recent engagements in renowned institutions such as the Royal Danish Opera house, Chœur de Radio France, Nederlandse Reisopera, Orchestre National des Pays de la Loire, Chœur Accentus. Upcoming events include a debut with Orchestre Nationale du Capitole de Toulouse. Among further projects we can already mention Chichester Psalms and Suor Angelica.

With a background in clarinet, chorus and orchestra conducting, her accolades comprise a Special Prize in the Blue Danube Opera Conducting Competition-Béla Bartok, Bulgaria 2021.

Karine Locatelli is celebrated for her versatility. Particularly involved in transmission she teaches conducting at Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Lyon.
